The Sacred Breath Method

The Sacred Breath Method is a holistic, trauma informed, somatically-based, free form method of conscious connected breathwork that opens the gateway to expanded states of consciousness where profound transformation occurs through the intimate meeting of self. You will be held in an intentional, loving and ceremonial container while being guided on a journey deep within your soul. Here are encouraged to freely express yourself in any way you need. Anything and everything is welcome in this space, unapologetically with out judgement. The sacred breath method prioritizes re-establishing safety within the body by utilizing the Parasympathetic Nervous system. Working with method allows you to rebalance the emotional body, heal the pain body and activate your souls highest expression. Here you will discover the wise one within and create space within your being to root deeper into the light of your truth.

The Sacred Feminine Breathwork Methods

These are three very powerful methods here to support you in awaken, connect and integrate the divine feminine rising within you and within our planet. These methods are similar to The Sacred Breath Method with an added element to bring you deeper in communion with your shakti fire and powerful energies of your womb. Those these methods are called “sacred feminine” I offer them to any being, regardless of your gender identity.

How does it work?

Breathwork is the art of consciously affecting our breath, it is the only part of the autonomic nervous system that we can consciously control. Conscious Connected or Circular breathwork is the art of consciously controlling our breath, we do this by breathing at a moderate pace, skipping the pause between exhale and the inhale. This will heighten the amount of oxygen within our bodies and decrease the amount of carbon dioxide allowing us to connect deep with our subconscious and unlock any suppressed traumas and emotions that are living within the body. This state of oxygenation will also release DMT molecule from our lungs and pineal gland, creating a bridge between our conscious and subconscious.

Working with a nose inhale will allow to access the full capacity of our lungs while triggering the vagus nerve which will release the parasympathetic nerve receptors that bring our bodies into a state of rest, relaxation and recalibration. It’s important that we feel calm and safe within our bodies as we move through the traumas that are asking to be met and released from our being.

The heightened amount of oxygen will awaken the limbic brain which holds our suppressed traumas and emotions. These wounds can stem all the way into early childhood. Working with breathwork allows us to open our cellular memory, where we store up to 14 generations worth of ancestral trauma according to Epigenetic studies. The breath gives us an opportunity to clear those traumas out of our body and become cycle breakers of our lineage.

Breathwork allows us to create new neural pathways within our brain and changes our brainwave from Beta to Alpha, (you can also access Theta and Gamma brainwaves as well). This supports us in breaking out of the “monkey mind” and welcomes in clarity.

On a physical level, the breath is responsible for 90% of our energy and 70% of our detoxification. Breathwork will support us through alkalizing the blood, regulating the nervous system, flushing out the lymphatic system, eliminating oxidative stress, promoting optimal digestion, maximizing our lung capacity and bring more oxygen to all systems of our body.

Why Breathwork?

Breathwork allows us to create space within our beings.

We carry so much suppressed trauma from our lifetimes. When we begin to meet these traumas and clear them out of our body, we create sacred space within ourselves to access our highest soul expression. We begin to live our lives from a place of our souls truth rather then the wounds we’ve endured.

Breathwork allows us to access our own inner healer.

Sometimes we can become dependent upon external sources for our healing. What we’re often not taught is that our breath is the most powerful tool we have to access states of profound transformation. We really can heal it all with our breath, it will guide us into activating our inner wise one. As we embody this truth, we will anchor deeper into our sovereignty as we realize all that we seek lies within.

Is Breathwork for you?

Breathwork results in certain specific physiological changes in the body and also can result in intense physical and emotional release. As a precaution, the following conditions are contraindicated in certain breathwork practices.

***BEFORE CONTINUING TO BOOK, please inform me if you expereince any of these contradictions as a modified breath may be available for some of the following:

- Pregnancy (at any stage)
- Severe PTSD or trauma
- Actively using recreational drugs
- Taking any medication that alters brain chemistry like anti-anxiety, anti-depressant, ADD, OCD medications, etc.
- Detached Retina
- Glaucoma
- Kidney disease
- High Blood Pressure
- Cardiovascular disease, including angina, previous heart attack or stroke
- Diagnosis of aneurysm of any kind
- Uncontrolled thyroid conditions
- Diabetes (any type)
- Severe Asthma— for mild to moderate asthma, we can discuss but you must bring your inhaler to the session
- Epilepsy
- History of Seizures
- Prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or previous psychiatric condition
- Severe psychosomatic disorders
- Recent surgery, stitches or injury
- Hospitalization for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the last 10 years
- Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions which would impair or affect ability to engage in any activities that involve deep physical and/or emotional release
- The mRNA COVID Vaccination: At this time, clients must wait a minimum of *60 days* after their *final* dosage with *NO SIDE EFFECTS* to engage in Breathwork. This decision has been made in consultation with our insurance company, health professionals, legal team and through our own deep contemplation. At this time, the vaccination effects are still too unknown and not covered by our liability.

Conscious, Connected Breathwork results in certain specific physiological changes in the body and also can result in intense physical and emotional release. Please be aware that these sessions are safe, illuminating, transformative and deeply healing, and can sometimes cause the following:

    My breathwork sessions with Sydney were life-changing, and that is not an overstatement. Her attention to detail of the physical space and the energetic container were what allowed me to be fully present in the experience and therefore gain the best results. From the beginning, I felt safe and well aware of what to expect from the journey. She walked me through the benefits of breathwork on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels which appealed to me greatly. I consider myself someone who is well-versed in the realm of spirituality but am still very much rooted in science, so having the biochemical insight as well as the more esoteric information was a wonderful touch.

    As for the breathwork session itself, Sydney cued and guided with grace and the right amount of presence. She left room for silence for me to go into my process and chimed in with keeping up the pace with her voice and instruments when needed. When my mental voice was coming up with discomfort, she intuitively was there encouraging me and coaxing my breath out of me. Along with the breathing, the journey included vocal activation catharsis, a practice that is still fairly new to me. But I felt 100% safe to express the emotions that have been suppressed in me for decades, and it felt like an itch that desperately needed to be scratched. After the screaming, crying, punching, kicking, I fell into a completely calm and blissed out state. A complete reset and renewal. I have never felt anything like it despite my years of daily yoga & meditation. I find that having the breath along with the emotional release is a great combination to do a deep emotional clean out.

    Overall, these breathwork sessions are not to be underestimated. I have always known how potent prana is but Sydney has given me a whole new way of looking at the practice, and for that I am eternally grateful.     Sydney set a very peaceful, safe, and quiet space for us to do the breathwork session. Her description of how the session would flow, as well as the benefits of the breathwork, as well as the different reactions I could have to the breathwork she set up and explained very clearly in the beginning of the session. This helped me feel safe to know how the session was likely going to flow. Her demonstration of how to do the the conscious connected breath was also very clear, and when I started doing it myself her coaching for when to do the breath was very on point. What also made a big difference for me was that she named a few different ways that I could move my body and or scream or punch a pillow change my position during the session that gave me permission to do so. In past breathwork sessions, I have been asked to not move my position very much and that didn’t feel very comfortable for me.

    For the session itself, I had a lot of resistance to get into the breathing part of the session. She was very helpful in guiding me into it gently, and then once I was in the flow of the breath, she was very intuitive in how she held the space as to when to sit back and allow my process and went to step forward and coach me a little bit to keep going. When different emotions came up, I felt comfortable to change positions intuitively, and also was hitting the floor a little bit and at that point I started to notice that I was actually having a little bit of fun even though I was having some emotional reactions! So I felt like Sydney really held a strong container for me to do that work. In the closing of the session, I also felt like my winding down and rest. Was also very integrative. Overall, I left the session having felt that I had released quite a bit, and I also received some images and some clarity around some areas of my life that I had been pondering recently.
